Fabrication These images exist as .pict files which is a QuickTime format. The they can be output as photographic prints or large format inkjet prints. These early examples were printed at 72 dots per square (dpi), which is about the resolution of a screen display, but can be easily converted to 150 to 600 dpi which greatly increases their apparent sharpness and detail in larger sizes (but also quadruples files sizes). This index of production represents several gigabytes. Works are delivered to production houses on CD.
